Membership in SL-WHP, Inc. falls into two categories: SL-WHP Member or SL-WHP Associate Member.
SL-WHP Members encompass individuals who either attended or graduated from Stephen Long Elementary School/Worcester High School or have parents (or guardians) who were affiliated with those schools or other segregated educational institutions in Worcester County designated for Colored children.
Conversely, SL-WHP Associate Members are those who do not meet specific SL-WHP Member criteria but share a common interest in supporting and advancing SL-WHP’s mission.
To maintain good standing, members commit to an annual tax-deductible donation of $120 per tax year, payable between February 1 and May 31. Alternatively, they may choose a monthly donation of $10, starting from January and concluding in December of each new tax year.
